The University of North Texas is offering local solutions to a national problem, with Hunger and Homelessness awareness week, which will end on November 22nd. On an average night in America there are over 549-thousand homeless people across the country.
U.N.T. will be offering events all across the campus to help build awareness about hunger and homelessness in Denton County, and as winter approaches U.N.T.’s food pantry is asking for donations to coincide with the holiday season.
If you are unable to make it out to an event this week, the food pantry accepts donations year round. The food pantry at North Texas is now located in Crumley Hall and is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
