Drug deal gone wrong ends with the killing of a witness who testified against former Dallas police officer Amber Guyger.
Three Louisiana men are suspected in the killing of 28-year-old Joshua Brown two days after a jury sentenced Guyger to 10 years in prison for killing her neighbor, Botham Jean. Dallas police stated the two incidents were not related.
Brown was killed at a Dallas Apartment complex during a drug deal involving three men from central Louisiana. Two suspects Micheal Mitchell, 32, and 20-year-old Jacquerious Mitchell are in custody as police continue to search for 22-year-old Thaddeous Green.
Mitchell suffered a gunshot wound to the chest from Brown following an altercation between Green and Brown. Brown was shot by Green twice according to Mitchell.
Authorities conducted a search of Brown’s home and confiscated more than $4,000 in cash, 12 pounds of marijuana and 143 grams of THC cartridges according to Dallas Assistant Chief of Police, Avery Moore.
