Located in the Shops at Willow Bend in Plano, TX is a new place to not only take your children, but to re-live one of the best parts of our childhood memories--Crayola crayons.
The Crayola Experience is a new site centered around creativity and fun that opened on March 23rd. With 22 different hands-on attractions, kids AND parents can have a great time creating crayons, coloring, and much more.
Some of the attractions feature stations where you can wrap your own crayons, create coloring pages of yourself, and even melting and molding with their Crayola products. The Crayola Experience also features digital attractions such as augmented reality designing and games.
There are over 3-4 hours of fun, colorful activities at the new attraction, and every month will feature new themes in the new activity studio. This month is "Wild West" month, and some of the activities include making your own vest, medals and badges, and other items that kids can create themselves using the many products provided by Crayola.
The Crayola Experience has no age limit. "There really isn't [an age limit] in creativity," says Crayola Experience Marketing and Sales Manager, John Chidester. "It's something that's in all of us, and we feel very strongly that it's something that should be inspired in children. So at Crayola, it is our mission statement to help parents, to help teachers, develop creatively alive children, and that's important for us."
The Crayola Experience also will hold a job fair every Tuesday in April for those looking for a colorful career.
