North Texan Alpacas
Patrick Pastures opened in 2004 with the plan of being an eco-friendly farm and the host to a variety of species-most specifically; alpacas, who's waste is high in nitrogen and has a slow release.
"We decided that if we we're going to do that - we were going to get eco-friendly animals, and that's why we got the alpacas."
Patrick Pastures also offers itself as a bed and breakfast, where visitors can stay the night and visit some alpacas themselves.
