Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get involved?

At the beginning of every semester, we have an open house event called Kick-Off. During this time, you can tour the station and learn about each department and the positions that are available. After that, it's as easy as applying and waiting for the call. We know waiting is the hard part, but we promise that everyone that wants to join, will have a place at ntTV. If you can't make it to Kick Off, just come by the office and talk to one of the staff members. We are located in RTFP 261.

Do I have to be a Media Arts student at UNT to join?

No! We accept any person no matter the major! You do have to be a student though. Don't blame us; it's just UNT's policy.

Where can I watch the shows?

ntTV broadcasts to all of Denton County. If you live on campus, you should be able to access us on channel 192. If you live off-campus (in Denton County), just turn on Charter 192 or Frontier 46. If none of the above applies to you, you can watch right here on this site under the 'Watch' Tab! Watch the newest episode of each show on the main 'Watch' page, or scroll down and select your favorite show to find all episodes. Just remember, we are students and it make take a few days for a show to get uploaded to the website.
