While being stuck in the house due to COVID-19, not only have I been watching a lot of TV like most people, I have also been listening to a lot of music. Music is a way that I pass the time and there have some new albums released around this time that I have really been enjoying.
1. The Weeknd : After Hours
The album I have been listening is After Hours by The Weeknd. After Hours is The Weeknd's fourth studio album and arguably one of his best. I have been an avid fan of his since House of Balloons and Trilogy, this is definitely one of my favorite albums by him. Compared to his last album Starboy, After Hours has a darker tone mixed with an 80's rhythm. Some of my favorite songs off the albums are In Your Eyes, Scared To Live, and Save Your Tears. 10/10 recommend!
2. Bad Bunny : YHLQMDLG — Yo Hago Lo Que Me Da La Gana
YHLQMDLG is Bad Bunny's sophomore solo album and is groundbreaking. What I most like about this album is the visuals he has been creating through his music videos. Recently, Bad Bunny came out wit
h a video for the song Yo Perreo Sola, where he is dressed up a woman. This video also has different political messages in regards to the woman's protest going on in Latin America. The video ends with a message saying, "Si no quiere bailar contigo, respeta, ella perrea sola," which translates to "If she doesn't want to dance with you, respect her, she perrea alone." This album is full hits and I've had this whole album on repeat.
3. Harry Styles: Fine Line
Though not a new album, Fine Line is an album I have been playing again since being locked in the house. Harry Styles Sophmore album is very different from the music he once made in the band One Direction. Fine Line has a mature tune and walks the listener through one of Style's relationship. Songs I can't stop listening to are Cherry, To Be So Lonely, and Falling.
