When I usually do my homework, I like to listen to my liked songs on my Spotify account. You see, my liked songs range anywhere from Adele to Twenty One Pilots, and Drake to Yung Gravy (yes). But I found that there are a few songs that I can't seem to get out of my head.
10. 21 - Dababy
I don't know if it's the fact that I'm turning 21 in 7 months or I play this song every time I work out, or it could be both, but this song is defiantly worth a play when you want to feel powerful.
9. Adore You - Harry Styles
I'm a little surprised that Harry Styles wasn't higher on my list. I fell in love with song because it reminds me of his music style
8. Come with Me Now - KONGOS
For some reason, I suddenly remembered the Atlantis commercial that would always come on (or was it Universal Studios...I can't remember). Anyway, I always liked the song in that commercial and just came across it again.
7. Hate Me (feat. Juice WRLD) - Ellie Goulding
I really like the vibe of this song and Juice WRLD (R.I.P. Juice WRLD) makes this song so much better and takes it to another level! I can't really explain why I like it, I just do!
6. Dream Boy - Waterparks
Last December me and my friend, Bella, won tickets to see AND meet Waterparks in Dallas (and let's just say we may have cried). The meet-and-greet and concert really made me fall in love in the band! They're so sweet (even though I just told them hi). I highly recommend them!
5. Hard Times - Paramore
Last summer I use to work at a waterpark and this song ALWAYS use to play. I never knew the name until the last day I worked there and I've been crazy about it ever since. I'm not going to lie, this is the only song I listen to from Paramore but I might look into their album when I'm stuck at home. Stay tuned.
4. How do You Sleep? - Sam Smith
I can't really explain why I like this song. I love the beat, I love Sam, let's just say it's a nice break from all of the classic rock songs that I listen to!
3. everything i wanted - Billie Eilish
I love Billie's voice in whatever she sings, she really takes this song up a whole level! I know I said that a lot but this is really it! Though this song came after the release of her debut album, I'm excited for what else she has in store!
2. Take What You Want (feat. Ozzy Osborne & Travis Scott) - Post Malone
Did y'all think I wasn't going to get through a top 10 without Post Malone?? My favorite North Texas native really stole my heart since day 1 with his debut album "Stoney". This song combines my love for rock and roll, rap and classic rock. So if you want a 2020 take on classic rock, this song IS IT!
1. Blinding Lights - The Weeknd
Don't lie. Every time this song comes on you can't help but sing along to it! Whenever I use to walk to class or even when I'm studying this is always my #1 song! I've always loved The Weeknd and this song brings out a more 'pop' version of him.
